From l’Ecot, a trail that must not be missed and easily accessible will take you to the foot of the Evettes glaciers (2590m). This area, among the most beautiful glaciers in Europe, is designated as a historical site.
If you would like to take a more challenging route to the Sources de l’Arc : here is the Balcon trail.
The scenery is spectacular ; it unfolds before your eyes throughout your hike.
Stray away on the chamois and goat trails.
If you are looking for a change of scenery, Italy is very close. Do not miss a trip to Suse with its Roman remains, market, shops, typical Italian « gelato » ! The road to Italy goes through the Mont Cenis pass, rich in history : Napoleon, Annibal and other historical characters crossed this pass before any routes were built.
